That was beautifully done.

It took me a while to find it again. I think that's the third time I posted this. It's a haunting melody. I think its nearest counterpart is Amazing Grace however it is performed. The most amazing renditions were in the Madrid underground and Gare du Nord where a string quartet was playing.

It is a mystery how deeply most people are moved when listening to Amazing Grace -such power from a simple, unadorned song. I've never had the pleasure of hearing a live professional rendition of Amazing Grace.

I did. A number of times. The first and most memorable time was in the Madrid subways where a man who must have sung professionally was singing a capella. It was fantastic. We all simply stopped and stared until he was done. I've heard it in my mother's church from soloists who could sing the slippers right off a snake. Awesome.

This little girl and tthat trumpet, well, I repost her every year. She absolutely nails it.
