WINTER IN METROPARKCENTRALIS

It arrived last night. It lingers yet. I can't wait until Spring. From the looks of the snow outside it looks like we might get another foot of snow by noon.

0400 this morning:

I used to use FLIR I, II and III and NVG5 and 7 but I am constantly amazed by what this little camera picks up in the dark. These pictures were taken in full dark with no flash. I think they're pretty cool.

I think you're right.

They make it difficult to get detailed shots of a full Moon.
But, yeah, it's neat to not have to worry if you have fast enough film in the camera and can just reach into your shirt pocket to get it.

Very cool - I am glad you were careful to avoid all the traffic.

Makes night photography a lot more fun. Something to do for entertainment while waiting for Spring.

I don't trouble myself to think I have the eye for photography found at: instapich, daily time waster, Cynthia or Shorpy have.

I can appreciate beauty but for some reason I am the left hand of darkness, the right hand of blur and the focus of unalloyed brilliance. I think that's why I take pictures in the dark. :)
