METROPARKCENTRALIS

There are a couple of places that have become happy ports of call here in MPC. One is the Blue Star Tavern in Solon on Miles Road. It has a nice atmosphere, plenty of TV to watch sports, good company and you cannot beat the steak quesidilla. Seriously. They make the best steak quesidilla in the western hemisphere. If you are fan of just steak and cheese ask for without the sauce.

Another great place is Moosehead Hoof and Ladder in North Olmstead Falls. It has a deck outside for dining and watching the river and the railroad traffic. The food and service are great. Both are friendly to military veterans.

A good tavern or bar is a blessing, particularly one that also serves great food. That's one of the things I miss about livin' in The Big City. (sigh)

It is nice to have a place to go for a bite very late at night. I recall my first night in my place in Solana Beach. My brother and I walked up the street to the bar at Fletcher Cove and decided we needed to go further for anything to eat or drink. These two places are good.
